This site is a static editorial publication. It does not run customer accounts, job management software or a review platform.
The contact form is sent through FormSubmit to the publishing inbox. The fields are name, email, suburb, topic and message. Use those fields only for editorial questions. Do not send identity documents or payment data.
FormSubmit’s own retention and security terms apply to the transmission. This publication does not keep a separate pest-control customer database, because it is not a pest-control customer business.
Server logs on the host may record standard request metadata. We do not sell enquiry lists. If you want a message removed from the inbox, write again and say so.
Official links on this site go to Victorian and Commonwealth agencies. Those sites have their own privacy statements.
Fields and purpose
Name and email exist so the editors can reply. Suburb exists so we can point at a region note rather than at a fake service map. Topic and message exist so we can tell whether you have already read the relevant guide. There is no marketing list behind those fields, because there is no marketing automation on this rebuild.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for a phone number on purpose. We do not run a chat widget that stores recordings. We do not embed a review platform. We do not create a user account when you send the form.
Hosting and logs
The site is a static Next.js build. The host may keep ordinary access logs (IP, user agent, path) for security and uptime. Those logs are not a pest-control customer file. They are not joined to FormSubmit messages by this publication.
Official outbound links
When you leave for health.vic.gov.au, wildlife.vic.gov.au, vic.gov.au, apvma.gov.au or vba.vic.gov.au, you are on that agency’s privacy terms. We link them because they are the source. We do not wrap them in a tracking redirect.
Access and deletion
There is no self-serve dashboard. Write again from the same address and ask for the message to be deleted. If a reply has already been sent, the inbox thread is the record.
Children
Do not send photographs of children, or of other people’s bedrooms, “for identification”. We will not diagnose from those images and we do not want them in an inbox.
Guest contributors
Guest notes on this rebuild are edited. If you are a past contributor and want a byline removed or a correction added, use the form and quote the URL.
Third-party processors
FormSubmit is the processor for the contact form. The font files come from the Next.js font pipeline. We do not add extra analytics pixels on this rebuild. If a future host injects its own logs, they remain host logs, not a marketing profile we sell.
Field notes: what the inbox is for
What to look for first
Before anyone opens a product, look for this: Name, email, suburb, topic, message. Write the date and the room. That note is what you hand a licensed person, not a vibe.
A first look that costs nothing: A correction with a URL. If you cannot see it safely, stop and photograph from the doorway.
Melbourne houses hide harbourages. Start with this one: A byline change on a guest note. Then decide whether you are still in a DIY sentence.
What not to do
Skip this common mistake: Identity documents. The archived shopfront loved shortcuts. This rebuild does not.
Do not do this, even if a neighbour swears by it: Card numbers. If a method is not on a label or an agency page, it is folklore.
The wrong move on this job is Other people’s bedrooms. Undo is harder than wait.
The rule you can quote
The official line to keep in your pocket: FormSubmit’s terms cover transmission. Quote the agency, not this domain, if you need a rule to stand up.
When the conversation turns legal, use this: Host logs are not a customer database. We are an editorial site. They are the source.
Read the primary page, then this sentence: Agency sites have their own privacy statements. If they disagree, the agency wins.
How Melbourne housing changes the job
In this kind of Melbourne building: The form does not change because you live in a tower or a cottage. Copying a slab plan onto a stump house, or a tower plan onto a cottage, is how people buy the wrong product.
Housing stock does the work here: The fields stay the same. The suburb name is a weaker clue than the hatch, the chute or the deck post.
Walk the building type, not the postcode: The purpose stays editorial.
After the first night
After the immediate mess: Write again to ask for deletion. That is maintenance, not a second panic spray.
The next week is for this, not for a new fog: There is no dashboard. If the animal returns, you have information, not a failed personality test.
File this with the house papers: We do not sell lists. The next buyer or the next inspector will ask.
